What is Omnipresent?

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, Omnipresent means present or having an effect everywhere at the same time. God is said to be omnipresent as he/she is believed to be present everywhere. The availability of something on different platforms at the same time is called omnipresent.

What is omnipresence for businesses? How can a business become omnipresent? Or rather, can a business become omnipresent?

The answer is a big Yes. A business or brand can become omnipresent. The process is a bit long and it takes time to build that kind of market recognition and availability but it is possible and a lot of brands are now actively working towards it.


Right now, there are multiple established players in all industries; the competition is high and continuously increasing. In such a scenario, it is very difficult for a brand or business to survive in the market and be in the lead for long. To survive through this, businesses need to be present everywhere, this means connecting with the customers on every possible platform.

Omnipresent in business means being present on every possible platform, online and offline. This makes it easy for the target audience to connect with the brand and builds high brand recall. Omnipresence can be the ultimate goal of any business/ brand when it comes to marketing. It increases recognition and helps the brand survive in the competitive market.

Omnipresent Marketing is making your brand easily available by using various platforms. Various platforms on the internet are available for a brand to use as a marketing tool and convey its message. The more messages and mediums you control, the more power your marketing will have.

Getting customer insight and targeting the right set of customers has become very easy especially with the help of internet. This also allows the brand to target only the customers which will be more prone towards buying their product based on their demographic and psychographic. And using all the platform effectively increases brand exposure.

·         Brand should continuously pursue potential customers, first from creating awareness to consideration and then retaining the customers and make brand advocates out of them. This is a long and seemly never-ending process. Being omnipresent makes the business able to do this conveniently and in an effective manner.
